What to Expect:
In your first visit, you will undergo a detailed interview/health history to find the underlying causes of "dis-ease." This will include supplement recommendations, dietary advice and health plan.

Follow-ups are important for staying on the "right track." Follow-ups are also scheduled for individual naturopathic healing modalities, such as craniosacral therapy or homeopathic consults.

Supplements/Medicines:
We have access to the highest quality doctor's line supplements that can be drop shipped directly to you. Unlike most over the counter supplements, these are pharmaceutical grade with independent lab testing for purity and potency(which is important since the FDA does not regulate the supplement industry). Our practice is not based on sales, so we do not carry an in-house pharmacy, but we can order products that are drop shipped to you in a few days.

Does Insurance Cover Naturopathic Medicine?
We do not do insurance billing, as health insurance companies do not cover Naturopathic Medicine visits in Oklahoma. Naturopathic Medicine is like an insurance policy in itself, as it promotes healing the mind, body, and spirit and focuses on prevention of disease. Naturopathic Medicine visits will teach you how to stay well, which over time ends up saving you money and can keep your premiums lower.

Make sure your Naturopathic Doctor has the following educational background:

Professional Education
A licensed naturopathic physician (N.D.) attends a four-year graduate-level naturopathic medical school and is educated in all of the same basic sciences as an M.D., but also studies holistic and nontoxic approaches to therapy with a strong emphasis on disease prevention and optimizing wellness. In addition to a standard medical curriculum, the naturopathic physician is required to complete four years of training in clinical nutrition, acupuncture, homeopathic medicine, botanical medicine, psychology, and counseling (to encourage people to make lifestyle changes in support of their personal health). A naturopathic physician takes rigorous professional board exams so that he or she may be licensed by a state or jurisdiction as a primary care general practice physician. Please see the AANMC’s Professional Competency Profile for more information.

Additional information on naturopathic schools can be found on the American Association of Naturopathic Medical Colleges web site.

The Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges (AANMC) was established in Febrary 2001, to propel and foster the naturpathic medical profession by actively supporting the academic efforts of accredited and recognized schools of naturopathic medicine.
